Okay . . . I wrote a story a while back.

It's pretty much complete and I'm going to start making a comic of it.

Anyway, no new news on the job front. Still looking and still keeping my options open. Finally gave up on my health insurance due to it being the main source of money suckage and getting worse due to an increase at the end of this month. So . . . back to the pay by the visit discounts and begging the doctor for free samples if needed >.<

Still working on improving my art and toying with the idea of doing commissions again (I still owe you two, don't I Tagg? You have the choice of reissuing or I'll refund your $30 . . . either way >.< Sorry about that.)

Also toying with the idea of making character plushies, I made 5 of them for some friends on Deviant Art of their OC's, and they were very well received. So . . . tossing that out there as well.

Other than that, kids are fine. Doug turns 5 in February . . . I'm still planning on starting my comic this month (as the time ticks away from me O.o) and I'm just puttering away and trying to stay sane.

And, that's pretty much all I have to say . . . except . . . SAMPLES!!

My parents came up to give Meri her Birthday presents and take the kids up to Anderson early so that Dan and I could take care of all the Christmas stuff without the kids around.

After the major push to finish all of my projects (which I did! *is proud*) I wrapped presents, ran errands, cleaned house, and otherwise kept freaking busy. *faint*

Went up Christmas Eve Morning and just chilled . . . except for having to go rent boots for the after Christmas Snow Shoe trek (which I will explain later). Kids were put to bed, stockings were stuffed, and Santa visited. Then Dan and I collapsed and slept until Doug woke us up at 7am.

Santa brought the kids (and us, although I STILL haven't had a chance to even touch the thing ;_;) a Wii . . . which was a HUGE hit. The kids LOVED their plushies that I made them ^_^ Best gift I got, though, was a COLOR LASER PRINTER from my father-in-law 8D I'm so STOKED about that . . .

The day after Christmas we drove to the other side of Lassen (near Red Bluff) and went snowshoeing in a volcano! http://www.nps.gov/lavo/planyourvisit/winter_activities.htm XD It was cold, and the snow was powdery . . . but it was FUN. It was a 2 mile round trip up to Sulfur Works up the main park road. I recommend it . . . and may make a more detailed description in the Nor-Cal Questers (if it's still running >.>)

After a rest at home . . . we went to see the King Tut Exhibit. I enjoyed both the history and the pieces on display. I was a little disappointed that a lot of the stuff I remember wasn't there . . . but I understand why they weren't, security reasons and all. Merial really enjoyed seeing all of the stuff . . . and Douglas was remarkably well behaved (I was complimented several times for his behavior . . . why can't he behave that well at HOME? O.o)

So . . . that's the short version . . . comment if you want more information XD I'm going to relax until New Years now.

Online again . . . still working on X-mas stuff

Our Wireless DSL modem bit it . . . so, until we can get it replaced I can only be online on Dan's computer.

Not that it really matters, since I update here so irregularly, but I thought I'd let people know in case they were trying to e-mail me and not getting an answer. . .
